We are looking for a Junior Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field to start their professional career in an international aviation environment. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations, while developing their technical skills and knowledge alongside an experienced team.
Working closely with the Accounting team, the successful candidate will contribute to daily accounting activities, support the preparation and accuracy of financial information, and gain exposure to accounting procedures, reconciliations, month-end closing, and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Accounting team with daily accounting activities and financial operations
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Help process and verify invoices and accounting records
- Assist with bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting schedules
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records
- Support VAT, tax, and audit-related activities
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, clients, and external partners on accounting matters, with guidance from the team when needed
- Contribute to ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks while progressively developing accounting knowledge and practical skills
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; previous professional experience is not required
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software is an advantage
- Good command of English
