Senior Payroll & HR Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Payroll & HR Specialist to join our HR team and play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll management, efficient HR administration, and high-quality people service to our employees.
This role is essential to maintaining reliable HR processes while supporting employees with professionalism, responsiveness, and care throughout their employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy of salaries, allowances, and deductions
- Maintain and update employee records and HR administrative processes across the employee lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with labour, tax, and social security regulations, including reporting to the Segurança Social and the Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing clear guidance on payroll, benefits, leave, and HR administrative matters
- Support HR reporting and analytics, including headcount, payroll costs, and workforce metrics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in payroll processing and HR administration
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour and payroll regulations
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organization
