Requirements

  • Educational Background: A law degree from an accredited institution
  • English Proficiency: Fluency in business and legal English, both written and spoken
  • Availability: Immediate availability for employment
  • Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law
  • Experience in Aviation Law: Prior experience in aviation law, specifically in aircraft leasing, ACMI arrangements, or aviation insurance is a plus
  • Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation leasing and aircraft operations is highly advantageous
  • Legal Expertise in Aviation Law: understanding of aviation leasing, ACMI agreements, international aviation regulations, and related areas of law (e.g., contracts, liability, insurance) is a plus 

Responsibilities

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex leasing agreements, particularly in the aviation sector
  • Dispute Resolution: handling disputes, especially those related to maintenance failures, insurance claims, crew management, or aircraft operations
  • Insurance: managing aviation insurance policies and handling claims involving aircraft damage or operational disruptions
  • HR: drafting employment agreements and amendments and providing general support to the HR department in legal matters
  • Passenger claims: providing legal opinions on passenger compensation under the applicable regulations
